Le Trec stands for Technique De Randonnee Equestre De Competition, and is akin to orienteering on horseback. Riders must have the knowledge to read a map and surmount obstacles that might be seen on the trail. Western Ontario Region holds a Le Trec Competition once a year at the end of the summer. Riders can compete on a team or idividually.
